Adding objects to the map

When you select an option from the menu Building, Tree, Bonus or Misc you can draw an area on the world. The area is marked with black an white tiles.

Most objects have properties which are given random values when they are placed on the map. These values are stored when you save the level. To create new values you can edit the object properties or draw the object again.

When an object is placed on a water tile then the water is replaced by ground.

Some objects have different variations, those can be selected with the images in the bar below the screen. The sceen shot shows the different pine tree options (one or two).

Removing an object from the map

If the option Erase object from the Edit menu is selected then a tile or area of tiles can be selected which is cleared from objects.

Changing the properties of an object

To change the properties of objects select Edit objects from the Edit menu. After selecting this tool you can hover over an object, the object is placed in a small window with edit options on the right bottom. There are several different options:

• Cross: remove the object
• Star: randomise properties such as with and height
• Key: select the key to activate the object
• Arrow: change the angle of the object

Drawing tiles on the map

With the Ground menu the type of tile can be selected. If the water tile is active and a tile is selected which has an object on it then the object is removed from the map.

Changing the view

With the option View map from the View menu the 3d view is replaced with the map of the level. The view changes back to 3d with the View world option.
